When could you claim compensation?

You may be entitled to compensation if your flight was delayed, cancelled or you were denied boarding. We'll check your flight and circumstances to see if you could have a claim.

Delayed Flight

You could be entitled to compensation if you arrive at your destination 3 hours or more late.

Cancelled Flight

You could be entitled to compensation if your flight was cancelled, depending on when you were told and the reason for the cancellation.

Denied Boarding

You could be entitled to compensation if the airline denied you boarding against your will, for example because the flight was overbooked.

Missed Connection

You could be entitled to compensation if a delay causes you to miss a connecting flight and you arrive at your final destination 3 hours or more late.

Common Questions

No. We’ll check your flight details and email you the result and your options. You decide whether you want Runway to handle any eligible claim.

UK261 may provide compensation for some long delays, cancellations, denied boarding and missed connections. Eligibility depends on factors including the route, length of delay and cause of the disruption. We’ll check the details before saying whether you may have a claim.

Eligible UK261 claims can be worth up to £520 per passenger. The amount depends mainly on the flight distance and, in some cases, the length of the delay. We’ll check your flight and explain what may apply.

Yes. You can claim directly from the airline yourself without using Runway. If you choose Runway to handle an eligible claim, our service is No Win, No Fee and we charge a 35% success fee only if your claim succeeds.

You may be able to claim if your connecting flights were part of the same booking and the disruption caused you to reach your final destination more than three hours late. Eligibility also depends on the route and cause of the disruption, so we’ll check the full journey before saying whether you may have a claim.
